Teen jailed for plotting US-style school shooting

A TEENAGER who wanted to carry out a shooting at his school similar to massacres in the US was yesterday jailed for six years.
Felix Winter is said to have "idolised" the two US killers behind the Columbine High School atrocity in Colorado in 1999 in which 13 were killed.
He spoke repeatedly about doing the same at his Edinburgh school, describing "Doomsday" when he would "clear it out", the High Court in Glasgow heard.
A large-scale police probe was launched in 2023 after a social media photo of Winter attending school in full combat gear and carrying an imitation gun caused panic among pupils and parents.
