'Teen girl filmed boy as he killed pensioner'

Youth later claimed 80-year-old pulled a knife, jury hears

A TEENAGE boy punched and kicked a pensioner to death in a park as a girl shouted encouragement and filmed it on her phone, a court has heard.

The 15-year-old boy also racially abused Bhim Kohli and slapped him with a shoe as the 80-year-old fell to his knees having suffered a spinal cord injury and fractured ribs , it is alleged.

The girl of 13 laughed and urged the boy on as she captured footage in Franklin Park, Leicester, it is claimed.

After Mr Kohli died in hospital the next day the boy falsely claimed the retired businessman had threatened a girl with a knife, it is alleged.
