Sycamore Gap trial jury screened

POTENTIAL jurors in the trial of two men accused of cutting down the Sycamore Gap tree have been asked if they have any emotional connection to the site beside Hadrian's Wall.

Justice Lambert outlined the details to a panel of 25 potential jurors, saying: “I am sure each and every one of you have heard about the case given the level of media interest which it has engaged.”
