Starmer still waiting for Trump talks

KEIR Starmer had still not spoken to Donald Trump last night about the situation in Venezuela or US threats against Denmark.

Downing Street attempted to play down the snub, suggesting that more junior figures in the US and UK had been in discussions.

But the Prime Minister yesterday risked angering the US president after declaring he "stands" with Denmark following Mr Trump's threats to annex Greenland.
