THERE were some relieved F1 executives in the paddock last night.

Because drivers had little positive to say about their new cars and this electrified new era of the sport in the buildup to the season.
But, in response to Max Verstappen's 'Formula E on steroids" jibe, F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali promised fans the racing would still be entertaining.
And yesterday's race backed up that claim.
