Shopkeeper watched 'tall dude' climb in car two miles from prison

Commander Dominic Murphy said a man fitting Khalife's description was seen moving away from the van he is suspected of hiding under during his escape from HMP Wandsworth, in South London.

Khalife is understood to have jumped into a car two miles from the prison, according to an eyewitness.

Survival

The man, said to be a newsagent in Putney, claimed he saw a "tall, lanky dude with dark hair" sprinting from a Bidfood lorry to a black vehicle heading east outside Wandsworth County Court.

Mr Murphy said: "My message to him is to hand yourself in.

"Either call us or go to a local police station and hand yourself in.

"With the reward we are offering and the amazing support we have had from the public and the media, we will be closing in on you, Daniel. You really need to come in and give yourself up."

Kemi's star is at last beginning to burn brightly

TORY leader Kemi Badenoch fluffed one of her lines at PMQs this week, when she implied that the Budget had already taken place. Mind you, it was an easy mistake to make, given the shambolic run-up to the event.
