MITCHELL AND CO HELPING ENGLAND CRACK RADFORD'S DEFENSIVE PLAN
ALEX MITCHELL believes a bit of Northampton inside knowledge can help England crack the Scottish defensive code at Murrayfield tomorrow.
The Saints contingent - also including Henry Pollock, Tommy Freeman, Alex Coles and Fraser Dingwall - have had Lee Radford as their defence coach at Franklin's Gardens since 2023.
In his first presentation to the Saints squad Radford, a former England rugby league international, showed them CCTV of himself fighting off burglars, in his underpants, at his home in Hull.
Radford now coaches Scotland's defence, job-sharing with Northampton before going full-time with the national team next season.
