Sara Sharif's relatives arrested over murder

THE father, stepmother and uncle of Sara Sharif were last night arrested on suspicion of the 10-year-old's murder after flying back to Britain.
Dad Urfan Sharif, his wife Beinash Batool and his brother Faisal Malik landed at Gatwick Airport yesterday evening. They agreed to return more than a month after they went to Pakistan and Sara's body was found at the family home.
The family claimed her death was an accident but according to a postmortem examination she suffered "multiple and extensive injuries" over a "sustained period".
Sharif, 41, Batool, 29, and Malik, 28, were arrested at the airport at around 7.45pm after disembarking an Emirates flight via Dubai.
