Overnight drone and missile strikes hit multiple regions
RUSSIAN forces have pounded cities across Ukraine in a massive overnight barrage of missiles and drones.
The onslaught came just 24 hours after US president Donald Trump warned Vladimir Putin, below, he had 50 days to strike a peace deal, or face devastating tariffs.
Explosions rocked Kyiv and several other regions in the early hours yesterday, with Ukraine’s Air Force issuing repeated warnings of drone and missile strikes across the country, including in western areas far from the front lines.
Trump’s 50-day deadline had been criticised by many commentators.
