Rotten luck...'disease' kills Charles' new garden

HE talks to trees and famously wishes good luck to each one he plants but green-fingered King Charles has suffered a gardening setback at Sandringham.
Staff at the 20,000-acre royal estate in Norfolk have had to dig up all 14 large yew trees in the monarch's new climate-friendly Topiary Garden - just weeks after they were put in the ground.
Root rot is suspected to be responsible for their demise and large holes have been left behind from their removal.
One visitor said: "I came here earlier in the summer and some of the trees looked brown, as if they were dying.
