Rolf Harris' home fails to meet reserve at auction

THE mansion where paedophile Rolf Harris carried out some of his crimes has failed to sell at auction after bids fell short of its owner’s expectations.
The mansion was yesterday listed with a guide price of £1.95million by BTG Eddisons, though it was first offered last April at £4m. But bids peaked at £1.54m.
As well as the stain of Harris's reputation, buyers may have been put off by sale photos showing how much work the property needs.
The riverside house in Bray, Berkshire, has been falling into disrepair since the TV star's death in 2023.
