Rob fought till the end for MND cure...we'll not stop until one is found

THE defiant dad of rugby star Rob Burrow says he will never stop fighting for a motor neurone disease cure.

Geoff Burrow spoke out after a health watchdog controversially ruled out a wonder drug on the NHS.

Leeds Rhinos legend Rob, 41, was diagnosed with incurable brain and nerve condition MND in 2019.

The dad of three, who died on June 2, dedicated the last years of his life to finding a cure.

In a poignant moment last year, below, former team-mate Kevin Sinfield carried Rob across the finish line of the fundraising Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon.

But the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence has sparked fury by ruling the number of people who would benefit from tofersen is too small to justify the cost of putting it on the NHS.
