Princess is game for a laugh

THE Prince and Princess of Wales renewed their long-term sporting rivalry yesterday, this time facing off on a netball court.

William and Kate laughed and joked as they tried to score hoops for opposing teams during a visit to Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre, Berkshire.

They joined parents and youngsters in a training workshop while learning how young athletes are coached on building up mental resilience under pressure.

The sports-mad royal couple were then placed in rival teams for shooting practice, with Kate raising her hands in triumph when she managed to score.

But when her husband stood in front of her with his arms up as a distraction, the Princess failed to hit the target four times.

Speaking to the group, William said he had been instilling positive sporting messages in his children.
