Pool house pair in hot water with neighbours

A COUPLE have caused ripples with the neighbours over plans to build a large swimming pool house with a bar in their front garden.

Thomas and Eleanor Flood became embroiled in the row after unveiling plans to build a 38ft-long extension which also has a sauna.

Homeowners living by the Floods’ £1.3million seaside property fear it will disturb the peace in their picturesque cul-de-sac.

Outraged neighbours fear installing a bar will lead to it becoming a “party house” with “weekend pool parties”.

Businessman Mr Flood, 35, and his wife moved to Stubbington, Hants, in 2021 and ripped down the existing home to build a replacement ahead of their the pool project.

Neighbours were already reportedly unhappy with the “imposing” new property, nicknaming it the “cow shed” due to its grey cladding.
