Police 'must probe use of false name for business'
Daily Express
|January 08, 2025
PRINCE Andrew is back in the spotlight after he was reported to the police for allegedly using a "false name" in financial dealings.
-
Scotland Yard has been urged to investigate the Duke of York after it emerged he used the pseudonym "Andrew Inverness" when setting up Naples Gold Limited with sports retail tycoon Johan Eliasch in 2002.
According to Companies House, the Duke, 64, was the owner of four other businesses linked under the name. On official documents, he is also described as a "consultant".
The name is a reference to one of the Prince's lesser-known titles the Earl of Inverness.
