Police curb on call to 'globalise intifada'

PRO-Palestinian protesters chanting “globalise the intifada” will be arrested because of the “escalating threat” faced by British Jews, police chiefs have pledged.
Sir Mark Rowley, the Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police, and Stephen Watson, the Chief Constable of Greater Manchester Police, warned words and chants have “real consequences”.
They said prosecutors have repeatedly claimed that many phrases “causing fear in Jewish communities don't meet prosecution thresholds”.
