Peace plea a week on from triple child death

FAITH leaders have urged people to "remain calm and peaceful" in the wake of the Southport knife attack and remember there is "far more that unites than divides us".

A week after the horror that left three children dead, the little girls' families should be "at the forefront of all our thoughts", they said.

Too many had tried to create "division and hate" in the aftermath, and it is time to "take pride in our community spirit again", they said.
