A COUPLE whose three-year-old son was found buried in a garden have been convicted in a case of "breathtaking" cruelty and arrogance.`
Jurors found Tai and Naiyahmi Yasharahyalah guilty of neglect, perverting the course of justice and causing or allowing Abiyah Yasharahyalah's death, following a two-month trial.
The parents had opted out of society and set up their own quasireligious "kingdom", the Coventry Crown Court trial heard.
The court was told London-born medical genetics graduate, Tai, 42, and former shop worker Naiyahmi, 43, did not seek medical help and tried to treat their son's final illness with garlic and ginger in their squalid home.
