Earl says Farrell's having a big impact Down Under

BEN EARL linked up with old pal Owen Farrell in the British & Irish Lions camp last week and revealed it has been like the former England skipper has never been away.

Farrell was parachuted on to the tour last Friday after Elliot Daly was injured and is on the bench for tomorrow’s Adelaide clash with an AUNZ Invitational XV.

His call-up caused a storm, after he was out for two months with concussion, but Farrell has hit the ground running in Australia, with assistant coach Johnny Sexton saying he is ripping it up in training.

Earl, who first played with Farrell at Saracens in 2016, believes the 33-year-old has not changed despite his up-and-down year in France with Racing 92.
