Negative Ralph's departure leaves Adams so positive

CHE ADAMS has vowed to score the goals that will keep Southampton in the Premier League – now that Ralph Hasenhuttl’s “negative” football has gone.

Striker Adams has netted three times in two games under new manager Nathan Jones, below, having notched five goals in 14 matches this term under the sacked Austrian.

When asked if Jones’ style will lead to more personal success, the former Birmingham striker said: “I hope so. He is making everyone put the ball into the box and get more bodies forward, so that will cause problems for opponents.

“He just wants to put teams on the back foot, get more crosses in, have more attacking bodies and everyone pushing forward and playing attacking passes.
