MP suggests West is the enemy in speech to constituents

A PRO-Gaza MP described the Western world as an enemy during a speech about Kashmir made in his Yorkshire constituency.

Iqbal Mohamed was elected as an independent in July 2024.

The representative MP for Dewsbury and Batley gave a speech last month discussing rights for people in the disputed Kashmir region, a majority Muslim area in both India and Pakistan. He told an audience in the Pakistan Kashmir Welfare Association Community Centre: “Let the West, let the enemies not divide us.”
