ELTON PUT IN SHADE BY TOWN SKIPPER
SAM MORSY fired Ipswich Town to the Championship summit and left the Tractor Boys cock-a-hoop ahead of Saturday's Old Farm derby against Norwich.
A tight contest at Vicarage Road was settled by a tale of the two captains Wesley Hoedt's blunder gifting Morsy the winner 10 minutes from time to the delight of 2,000 emissaries from East Anglia.
In front of Sir Elton John, defeat was harsh on Watford, but Morsy's Suffolk punch proved the knockout blow.
