Gibbs-White delivers a timely reminder to England boss

MORGAN GIBBS-WHITE sent the perfect response to Thomas Tuchel as Nottingham Forest came from behind to earn their first league win since the opening day.

The Forest captain was left out of Tuchel's squad for next week's World Cup qualifiers but reminded the England boss of his talent with his side's decisive second goal here.

Gibbs-White's second-half header helped end Forest's nine-game win-less streak in the league as they secured three points for the first time under head coach Sean Dyche.

And Dyche backed his skipper to force his way back into Three Lions reckoning.

He said: "He did well to get in [the England squad]. People forget that. People say, 'Oh well, he must be really disappointed', but he got in it.
