Million ways to get rich

CAST an eye over tonight’s schedules (better still, cast both, it’s so much more comfortable) and there’s one title in particular that should grab your attention.

No, not Celebrity Antiques Road Trip — although who doesn’t love a bit of that? — but HOW I MADE £1 MILLION IN 90 DAYS (10pm, Channel 4).

The “I” here is Oobah Butler, a documentary maker who’s built quite a reputation as an attention-grabber and hoaxer.

It was Oobah (a strange name, but his real one) who once got his restaurant briefly listed on TripAdvisor as London’s highest rated, despite it not actually existing. It was also Oobah who once fooled the folk at Paris Fashion Week, passing himself off as a designer called Georgio Peviani, with an equally fictional clothing brand.
