Mental risk for medical weed users

PEOPLE who start using cannabis to combat pain, anxiety or depression are at greater risk of paranoia compared to those smoking for “fun”, a study found.

In England, the drug is prescribed only to select patients on the NHS including children with severe epilepsy. It is offered at private clinics for conditions including mental health problems.
