NATIONAL TELEVISION AWARDS
FORMER Match Of The Day host Gary Lineker has won TV presenter of the Year at the National Television Awards, breaking Ant and Dec’s 23-year dominance of the coveted title.
Accepting the trophy last night, the former England and Spurs striker joked: “Blimey, I've won the Ant and Dec award.”
His win came months after his early exit from the BBC football show in May, amid a row after he shared a post about Zionism which included a depiction of a rat — historically an antisemitic insult.
