Linda Nolan: My brain tumours have shrunk

LINDA Nolan is preparing for the Christmas she did not think she would see after learning the tumours in her brain are shrinking.

The singer, 64, who has had radiotherapy and chemotherapy since her breast cancer spread earlier this year, said: "I knew straight away that it was good news by the look on my consultant's face.

"He said that the scans were good and that there is shrinkage with the tumours. I wanted to put my arms around him and kiss him but I thought they might throw me out." Linda told ITV's Good Morning Britain it was "absolutely" an early Christmas present, adding: "I didn't think I'd make Christmas.
