Knox convicted of slander again over killer claim

American said boss killed Meredith
AMANDA Knox was re-convicted of slander in Italy yesterday - nine years after being exonerated of the murder of British student Meredith Kercher.
Judges found the American, 36, had wrongly accused Congolese bar owner Patrick Lumumba of the killing during police interrogation.
She will not serve more time in jail after previously being held for three years until her wrongful conviction was overturned.
Knox, who arrived at the court in Florence with husband Christopher Robinson, showed no emotion as the verdict was read out. But her lawyer Carlo della Vedova said afterwards: "Amanda is very embittered."
