Grand Designs host slams immoral’ profits of developers

GRAND Designs presenter Kevin McCloud has advised young people struggling to buy a home to "move to Germany" instead.

The Channel 4 star said looking at the housing market he could see "nothing good here".

He added: "I look at what's happening in Germany, Holland, Netherlands, Denmark, Scandinavia, I look at other, almost every other North European country and Canada - they've got really healthy markets, lots of diverse opportunities, lots of diverse offers and it isn't hugely expensive.

"So, yeah, my advice is move to Germany, maybe that's the way forward!" Kevin, 64, laid the blame for Britain's housing woes on developers, who he says are creaming off "immoral" profits.
