James World Cup scare
Daily Express
|March 17, 2026
James is out injured with the 10th hamstring problem of his career - which could hit his World Cup hopes.
The 26-year-old (right) was a shoo-in for the friendlies against Uruguay and Japan this month.
But he will now miss England's final two matches on home soil before the summer tournament.
James is also out of tonight's Champions League round-of-16 second leg against Paris Saint-Germain at Stamford Bridge, with the Blues trailing 5-2.
