ITV's splashing the cash

JUST five teams remain in contention on ITV1’s big-money game show THE FORTUNE HOTEL (9pm). It'll soon be just four. And by the end of next week, one of these pairs will be walking away with that briefcase crammed full of cash.

Either way, I was thinking of applying for this programme myself next time around, teaming up maybe with my wife or daughter. Not just because we could win all that money, but because the location is stunning.

Regardless of how the game plays out for us, who wouldn't love a few days at Grenada's ultra-luxurious Silversands hotel, where the whole thing takes place?

But then, having given it further consideration, I’m thinking: "Naah, don’t really fancy it."
