A MAGNIFICENT male roe deer peeks out over a sea of bluebells in a scene that captures the magic of a British spring in all its glory.

But while the flora and fauna are at their best right now - with plenty of sunshine to set them off - the weather could be about to buck the trend over Easter.

Our deer was spotted enjoying the dry conditions in a landscape carpeted with bluebells, left, near Salisbury, Wilts, yesterday.
