Sir Cliff Richard on why he may quit touring

SIR Cliff Richard has admitted he is considering quitting touring despite previously saying he never wanted to retire and hoped still to be on stage in his 90s.

The British superstar, 84 — known for decades as the Peter Pan of Pop for his youthful appearance — said: “I don’t want to be an 85-year-old guy trying to be 18.”

He starts his next tour, Can’t Stop Me Now, in Australia and New Zealand in November, a month after he turns 85.

Then he returns to the UK for a series of shows, including at the Royal Albert Hall.
