Arsenal drop more points to lose ground in title race
THE plain truth is that Arsenal cannot see the job through in 90 minutes.
So how does anyone expect them to get across the line over the course of a full season? For the fourth time this term in the Premier League, Arsenal let a lead slip and they now find themselves a staggering nine points behind runaway leaders Liverpool. We are not quite into last rites territory for the Gunners' title chances, but it already feels like they need a miracle and it is not even mid-November.
This draw with Chelsea was the same story as the games against Brighton, Manchester City and Liverpool, when the Gunners took the lead and still only claimed a point each time.
That at least shows they are competing with their direct rivals but, ultimately, they are not good enough to get the job done. They have dropped eight points from winning positions in just 11 games. That is unforgivable.
