GLADIATORS star Jodie Ounsley says she only overcomes her natural shyness when she transforms into Fury for the TV game show.
Super-fit Jodie, 24, the first deaf female rugby player to play for a senior England side, wows fans by taking on the public in the BBC's popular reboot of the Saturday night show.
The ex-Exeter Chiefs winger said the best part about being a Gladiator was, unsurprisingly, tackling contestants.
She said: "I love that because I am quite shy. But then when I have to go out as Fury, it's like I have to switch into it.
