Gang of 4 jailed for 100 raids

FOUR members of a burglary gang who carried out at least 100 raids involving £2million of goods and damage have been jailed.

The break-ins were speedy with a high level of preparation. One video shows men cutting shutters, smashing a window and raiding a Sainsbury’s.

Police fear the true number of raids may be far higher. Four men caught by the Flying Squad have been jailed: - Lewis Northover, Scott Logan, Sean Bennett and Sachon Morgan.

Officers said the first three used high-powered stolen cars to blitz a series of businesses, stealing cigarettes, jewellery and silver between January 2020 and September 2022.
