Lampard out to cure false starts after play-off pain

FRANK LAMPARD is desperate to make it third time lucky in his bid to gatecrash the Premier League.

And his priority is to ensure Coventry lose their unwanted habit of getting stuck in the blocks.

The 47-year-old admits he is only in a job due to the sticky start that cost ex-Sky Blues manager Mark Robins his job nine months ago.

After a year and a half out of the game, Lampard swept into the club to lead City from the depths of 17th into the playoffs — only to suffer a heartbreaking semifinal defeat by Sunderland.
