MORE than four in 10 people do not know we won the Battle of Britain, a poll has revealed.

Shadow Justice Secretary Robert Jenrick's survey also found nearly two-thirds of under40s have no idea what it even was.
This compares with more than eight in 10 of the over-65s.
Mr Jenrick, who marked the 85th anniversary of today's Battle of Britain Day with a flight in a Spitfire from Biggin Hill, Kent, said: "For too long our history has been neglected.
