Alternate day method gets experts’ thumbs up
FASTING on alternate days may help shed the pounds more effectively than similar diets, says a study.
This feast and famine approach may have greater benefits when it comes to weight loss.
Other methods have also grown in popularity, including the 16:8 diet involving a 16-hour fasting period followed by eight-hour eating and the 5:2 diet involving five days when food is allowed and two of fasting.
