FEARS STARMER IS PLOTTING A 'FULL-BLOWN BREXIT BETRAYAL'

Anger as Prime Minister looks at 'multiple ways' to bring Britain closer to EU
SIR KEIR Starmer has been accused of betraying Brexit by edging closer to the EU single market.
Angry MPs hit out as he insiste Britain should “go further” in strengthening ties with Brussels.
Reform UK's Richard Tice warned: “When the Prime Minister admits that he is looking at 'multiple vrays' for Britain to get closer to the EU, Brits will be rightly worried that a full-blown betrayal is being cooked up in the corridors of Whitehall." Writing in the Daily Express, the party's deputy leader said: "It's no surprise that the man who campaigned not only for Britain to remain in the European Union during the 2016 referendum but subsequently spent years attempting to overturn the democratic vote of 17.4 million people continues on his warpath to bring Britain back into Brussels' orbit now that he has the keys to No 10.
"In fact, Keir Starmer's entire Cabinet is stacked to the brim with dyed-in-the-wool Remainers.
"Many of them strongly advocated for the Brexit vote to be blocked in Parliament. So when the Prime Minister admits that he is looking at 'multiple ways' for Britain to get closer to the EU, Brits will be rightly worried that a fullblown betrayal is being cooked up in the corridors of Whitehall." Labour's 2024 manifesto promised closer EU ties but "no return to the single market, the customs union or freedom of movement".
The UK last year signed a deal with the EU which includes a security and defence pact, fewer restrictions on British food exporters and visitors, plus a fishing agreement.
