Euro court backs runner Semenya

THE European Court of Human Rights has ruled in favour of double 800m Olympic champion Caster Semenya in a case related to testosterone levels in female athletes.
The court said her human rights were violated by the Swiss legal system. The South African runner, 32, who won Olympic gold over 800 metres in 2012 and 2016, was legally identified as female at birth.
