EU threat to cut UK energy access over fishing row

BRUSSELS has threatened to restrict British access to European energy markets in a row over fishing rights, MPs have warned.
A European Parliament report on implementing the post-Brexit EU-UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement demanded no further cuts to EU boats fishing in Britain's waters.
MEPs called for "reciprocal access to waters and fisheries resources to be maintained after June 30, 2026 so there are no further quota reductions for EU fishers".
