Dicing with death on dinghy

THIS is the horrifying moment a dinghy crammed with migrants began to bow under the weight of the dozens onboard in the middle of the Channel.

Around 60 people were clinging on to the inflatable boat, with many having to dangle their legs over the sides.

Others, including children, were sitting on a piece of plywood which was said to be holding the dinghy together.

Photos obtained by the Daily Express show its middle section sinking under the weight of the passengers. Fear was etched across the faces of many of the migrants on board the dinghy, which was in French waters.

Witnesses feared the boat might founder, it was so overloaded.
