SENEGAL were crowned champions again after the Africa Cup of Nations final had descended into chaos last night.

Pape Gueye’s thunderbolt four minutes into extra time ensured the 2021 winners regained their title against hosts Morocco in Rabat.
But Morocco had missed the chance to win it in second-half stoppage time when Brahim Diaz chipped a terrible penalty straight at Edouard Mendy, after Senegal players had walked off the pitch in protest.
