Des' daughter loses court claim over 'abusive' detective

THE daughter of late entertainer Des O'Connor has lost a High Court battle with the Metropolitan Police after a detective called her "amazingly hot".
James Mason, then a detective sergeant, met Kristina O'Connor as a result of her reporting a crime in October 2011.
A disciplinary panel found he "abused his position for a sexual purpose", amounting to gross misconduct, and he was given a final written warning.
But Ms O'Connor accused the force of failing to properly investigate her complaint.
She alleged the police misconduct panel did not address Mr Mason's "predatory and abusive" actions. But the Met and the misconduct panel disputed her claims.
