IS IT possible to say anything at all, ever, without offending people these days? The totally innocent, blameless and harmless Cat Deeley has become the latest to be marched to the dock of the asininely stupid: her great crime was to joke that she was "having a seizure" while dancing to Meghan Trainor's song All About That Bass. Cue the sky falling in: seizures are "no laughing matter" harrumphed The Epilepsy Society.

Cat has since apologised: of course she has. Is there one single person out there who genuinely thought that Cat was making light of epilepsy or any other form of seizure for that matter?
