Bodies found in house after concerns for pair's welfare
POLICE have launched a murder-suicide investigation after a "loving and devoted" mother and her disabled daughter were found dead.
The bodies of Martina Karos, 40, and Eleni Edwards, eight, were discovered at their home on Monday morning, following fears for their welfare.
Police are not "actively looking" for anyone else over the incident.
Yesterday, shocked neighbours laid flowers and a teddy bear at the scene in Salford, Greater Manchester.
One said Martina was of Polish and Italian descent and had lived at the home for around two years, adding: "She was a loving and devoted mother to the little girl.
"Eleni was severely disabled and hugely dependent on her mum.
