Chief Vet's warning to XL Bully owners: Muzzles required in just two weeks

OWNERS of American XL Bully dogs have been warned they have just days to comply with strict new laws designed to make the streets safer.
Chief Vet Christine Middlemiss urged them to take action as the Government prepares to outlaw them under the Dangerous Dogs Act.
New restrictions will come into force on December 31 following a string of deadly attacks.
From then, all XL Bullies must be kept on a lead and muzzled in public.
It will also be illegal to breed, sell, advertise, gift, exchange or abandon these dogs or let them stray.
