Chief Constable 'lied about his Navy past'

A POLICE chief who sported a Falklands War medal on his uniform created a "military naval legend that wasn't true", a disciplinary panel heard.

Nick Adderley, the Chief Constable of Northamptonshire Police, would have been just 15 at the time of the 1982 conflict, the hearing was told.
