OLLIE CHESSUM insists the Michael Cheika feel-good factor will stand Leicester in good stead long after the head coach has gone.
Former Australia coach Cheika leaves Tigers after today’s Premiership final against Bath, having kick-started a Welford Road revival in his single season at the helm.
He rode to the rescue after Leicester sacked fellow Australian Dan McKellar last summer following an eighth-place finish in the Premiership.
A multi-millionaire through the fashion industry, Cheika’s first message to the squad was that he did not need the job but just loved coaching and now Tigers are one step away from being English champions.
